Angel Beats! Yuri

After a long wait, lo and behold, my Angel Beats! Yuri has arrived. Another product of Good Smile Company to my collection. What I like about this particular figure is her pose. It’s dynamic. Her skirt, hair, ribbon flowing. It’s beautiful. It’s as if she just whipped out her gun and is ready to shoot…even though she’s smiling. >.<

I missed the pre-order of this figure. I must’ve missed it entirely until the pre-order is closed! Cuz by the time I noticed her, she’s about to be released. She’s sold out from a lot of shops in Malaysia but lucky me – with the help of a local figure store, MomoToys, I back-ordered her.

Angel Beats! Set 01

So…I bought Good Smile Company’s Angel Beats! Set 01 last month at KL’s XL-Shop.Com after it was released. I got this set cuz I’ve got itchy hands. Since I’m free this morning with nothing planned I thought I might as well play with my camera, Canon S95. I switched back to Poster mode after playing around with Nostalgic mode for a few weeks. It seems I like any other modes that is not normal. Fun!

High Tension! The Angel Beats! Version

Angel Beats! was listed as one of my personal favorite anime in 2010. This Winter Anime Season 2011, Angel Beats! was listed as one of the OVA releases. While it is considered one of the best shows I’ve seen this year, I’ve never thought I’ll be that excited to watch it again. Hooray! Boy, do I miss the show!!

As expected, this episode special doesn’t continue where from they left off. But fun! As of now, I couldn’t envisage a possibility of a second season since the story is pretty much done.

Hoshiko’s Choice of 2010 Anime Songs

2010 has certainly been a big year for me and my indulgence in anything that is anime. That itself has pros and cons. I won’t be going into details on those but instead this post will focus on the delightful anime songs we have for this year.

I’ve only started listening to anime songs or Japanese songs the beginning of 2010. The change came when I heard the songs in the shōjo anime NANA. I believe I’ve mentioned that I wanted a NANA soundtrack very badly no? I still haven’t got it yet. Fancy giving it to me as a Christmas present? Suffice it to say, NANA soundtrack is loaded with wonderful songs. Can’t even pick a favorite. I quickly became a fan of Olivia Lufkin. I find her interpretation and delivery of her songs very (can’t find any positive, good word to describe).

Hoshiko’s Best Anime 2010

Oh my, 2010 is really coming to an end – I didn’t even notice until this morning. I mean, I know it’s December and I know it’s almost Christmas, but the realization of 2010 drawing to end only hit me. Yes, I’m slow. Ugh!

Alrighty. I don’t think I watch enough this year’s releases to round up a Top 10 Best Anime of 2010 or something like that. So, I’m not going to force myself to make that list. I decided, however, to just list down anime I watch and that I like. That’s fair no?

I’m gonna start with the one I like best.
